A compact stool made from 1/2 in hot-rolled A36/A1011 steel with a mill finish. The four legs slot through notches in the round tabletop, leaving the construction visible from above.

  • 1/2 in (0.5 in) hot-rolled A36/A1011 steel; mill finish
  • One 9 × 9 in top part
  • Four leg parts, each about 11.7 × 3 in
  • All five steel parts are deburred
  • Plate-steel legs slot through notches in the tabletop
  • Mill finish is left visible; surface marks and tonal variation are part of the material
  • Felt pads are recommended on the bottom of the legs to protect floors
